Originally named Eden Hill, Queen Anne got its name from the architecture style after multiple Queen Anne Homes were built after the counterbalance up the hill opened and the neighborhood became more accessible.
The south slope Queen Anne homes have stunning views of the Space Needle, Downtown and Mt. Rainier. On the west slope you get views of the Puget Sound as well as Olympic National Park.
If you are looking for a Queen Anne condo you will likely be focusing in Lower Queen Anne. A Queen Anne townhouse would likely be found on the south or west slope although more are being built on top of the hill. Queen Anne homes can be found throughout the neighborhood. If you have any questions about Queen Anne I would be happy to help.
