Bellevue Condos For Sale

Living In Bellevue

Nestled between Lake Washington and Lake Sammamish, Bellevue’s French name for “beautiful view” accurately reflects the Olympic and Cascade Mountain views that homes on its hilltops offer. Long considered a commuter town for Seattle, the expanding presence of Microsoft, Amazon and a host of tech start-ups means that Bellevue more than competes when considering the best place to live in the Puget Sound.

Far removed from its farming town origins in the late 1800’s, the 1940’s brought rapid growth after the Lake Washington Floating Bridge was built across Lake Washington connecting the community to the thriving City of Seattle and opening up the region as a city escape. Fast forward a century and the City has become the third largest in the Seattle Metropolitan area, with a booming economy thanks in large to the nearby Microsoft headquarters in Redmond

Living in Bellevue, WA

What to Expect

An established & thriving hub for business in the Pacific Northwest, Bellevue is firmly planted on the national tech map with satellite offices for Google, Salesforce, Amazon joining the national headquarters of T-Mobile in calling the city home. As the second largest business center in Washington, Bellevue offers ample high paying jobs to its residents which has fueled the local housing market in recent years to new all time highs, even surpassing housing prices in nearby Seattle as well as Manhattan!

The Lifestyle

A majority of Bellevue residents are highly educated professionals in management, business, science and art roles. They are served by exceptional city amenities, including the Bellevue College, a top rated school district, and several Montessori schools. Located in between the Cascade Mountain range and Seattle to the west, Bellevue offers convenience of travel along I-90 and the soon to be opened East Link Light Rail Line Extension will increase easy access to Seattle.

The Unexpected Appeal

With a moniker of “city in a park”, and with over 100 parks featuring 2,700 acres of recreational space with 90+ miles of trails, residents of Bellevue will clearly have no trouble find a quiet oasis just a stones throw from their home. Be sure to visit the Bellevue Botanical Garden for cultivated gardens and restored woodlands. Bellevue Downtown Park is a true gem with one of the best playgrounds I’ve ever seen. There is so much more to Bellevue than greenery however. The city is full of fine dining options but personally I’d recommend a meal at Facing East. The Bellevue Arts Museum grew out of an art fair in 1947 into a leading center of art in the Pacific Northwest and the premium shopping center Bellevue Square truly offers a shop till you drop experience.

You'll Fall in Love With

The ease of living that Bellevue offers. The success of the business district has been parlayed into excellent investments for the residents of the city meaning that unrivaled services and wow factor exists everywhere.
